Also known as sea holly, this variety of eryngium is an ethereal silver colour. Makes a bold statement. 3ft in maturity. Hardy perennial. Sowing information Sow seeds in Jan to Feb. Sow quarter inch (6mm) on top of compost in seed tray. Place in unheated cold frame or glass house. Pick out seedlings as they develp and transplant into 3 inch pots. Harden off in cold frame. Then plant out 12-16 inches apart.
